Blogizi for Obsidian

Publish notes from Obsidian to your Blogizi blog.

Docs: blogizi.com/docs/obsidian

Features

  • New blog post — creates a note in your posts folder with frontmatter (command + ribbon)
  • Insert frontmatter — Blogizi-compatible YAML template
  • Upload as draft / Publish — pushes the active note via the Blogizi API (upload ribbon)
  • Update by slug — re-pushing the same slug updates the existing post (default on)
  • Load projects — pick which blog to publish to from your account

Setup

  1. Build the plugin (npm install && npm run build), then copy main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css into .obsidian/plugins/blogizi/ (or symlink the repo during development).
  2. Enable Blogizi under Obsidian → Settings → Community plugins.
  3. In Settings → Blogizi:
    • Paste your account API key (Dashboard → Account → API on blogizi.com)
    • Click Load projects and select a project (optional if you only have one)
  4. Create a post (ribbon or Blogizi: New blog post), fill description / keyword, then Upload as draft or Publish.
