Folder Info displays file and folder counts next to folders in Obsidian's native File Explorer.

Features

  • Shows separate file and folder counts

Settings

Folder Info provides the following settings:

  • Count all descendants or direct children
  • Show or hide file counts
  • Show or hide folder counts
  • Show or hide zero counts

Installation

Install Folder Info through Obsidian Community Plugins after approval, or use BRAT with this repository.

Privacy and security

Folder Info:

  • Makes no network requests
  • Collects no telemetry
  • Does not read note or attachment contents
  • Does not modify vault files
  • Stores only local display preferences
