Obsidian Canvas SVG Export

In "vanilla" Obsidian, canvases can only be exported to PNG. This is a Obsidian plugin that does only one thing: Export canvases to SVG.

Usage

This plugin is available in Obsidian plugin store:

  • Open Obsidian, find Community plugins
  • Search for "Canvas SVG Export"
  • Click "Install" and enable it

To export a canvas:

  • Open the canvas you want to export
  • Open the command palette (Ctrl/Cmd + P) and search for "Export to SVG"
  • Click "Export to SVG" in the modal appearing

  • Add rounded corner, aspect ratio and light / dark mode options for users when exporting SVG.
