Local Meeting Notes

Create a structured meeting note in one command, then pull every open action item in your vault into one list.

Runs entirely offline. No account, no API key, no sync service — nothing to sign up for and nothing that can be switched off from the outside.

Commands

CommandWhat it does
New meeting noteCreates a dated note with front matter (type, date, title, attendees) and your own section headings, with an empty checkbox waiting under the action-item heading.
Collect open action items into this noteScans every markdown file for unchecked - [ ] lines and inserts them at the cursor, each linked back to the note it came from.

There is also a ribbon icon for the first one.

Settings

Folder · date format · title format · default attendees · section headings · which heading holds the action items. All of it is yours to change — the plugin ships with a sensible default and never overwrites your text.

Why offline

Most meeting-note plugins sync from Outlook, Zoom, Granola or an AI service. Those are useful right up to the day the service changes its terms. This one reads and writes markdown in your vault and does nothing else.
