Obsidian Simple Image Inserter
This Obsidian plugin allows you to insert images without needing an external File Explorer GUI. The images are selected through a built-in file explorer, automatically embedded into your notes, and copied to your Obsidian vault.
This plugin was inspired by Better File Link.

Installation
To install the plugin:
- Search for "Simple Image Inserter" in Obsidian's community plugins browser
- Enable the plugin in your Obsidian settings (find "Simple Image Inserter" under "Community plugins")
Using the Plugin
To use the plugin:
- Open the command palette
- Search for the command "Insert image(s)"
- Select the images you want to insert
- Press "Open" in the bottom right corner of the file explorer to insert your selected images
