IA Block Generator

An Obsidian plugin that creates stylized and visually attractive blocks for AI-generated content, with support for multiple models and a modern interface.

Installation

From Obsidian (In Process — not available yet)

Manual Installation

1. Download main.js, styles.css, and manifest.json from the latest release
2. Extract the contents into your Obsidian plugins folder:

   {vault}/.obsidian/plugins/ia-block-generator/
   

3. Restart Obsidian
4. Enable the plugin in Settings > Community Plugins > Ia-Block

Windows users: The .obsidian folder is hidden by default. To show it:

• Windows 11: Open File Explorer → go to your vault folder → click View → Show → Hidden items.
• Windows 10: Open File Explorer → go to your vault folder → click the View tab → check Hidden items.
• Older Windows: File Explorer → View → Options → Change folder and search options → View tab → select Show hidden files, folders, and drives → OK.

If you still don't see .obsidian, open your vault in Obsidian once so it creates the folder.
If the plugins folder doesn't exist, create it inside .obsidian.

Create IA blocks using Obsidian's code syntax:

Customization

Plugin Settings

Go to Settings > Community Plugins > IA Block Generator to adjust:

• Open tabs by default: Controls whether blocks appear expanded initially
