Bronois

Deep, soothing stereo brown noise for focus and sleep, right inside Obsidian.

Features

  • Stereo brown noise: independent left and right channels for a wide, natural sound. Best on headphones.
  • Shape the sound: a low-pass filter to make it deeper or brighter, and a bass boost.
  • Sleep timer: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours, with a gentle fade-out at the end.
  • Gentle starts and stops: fades in and out instead of cutting abruptly.
  • Out of the way: a play button in the ribbon, an optional status bar control, and a panel with all the settings.
  • Commands: toggle brown noise, open the Bronois panel, volume up and down, play with a sleep timer, and cancel the sleep timer. Set your own hotkeys in Settings → Hotkeys.

How to use

Click the Bronois icon in the left ribbon to start or stop the noise. Run Bronois: Open Bronois panel for the volume, filter, bass boost and sleep timer.

Privacy

Bronois makes the sound on your computer. It uses no network connection, no recordings and no files outside its own settings.
