Canvas Toolkit

Canvas Toolkit adds practical customization tools to Obsidian Canvas.

Features

Installation

Canvas Toolkit is not yet available in the official Obsidian Community Plugins directory.

For manual installation:

  1. Download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from the latest release.

  2. Create this folder inside your Obsidian vault:

    .obsidian/plugins/canvas-toolkit

  3. Place the three downloaded files inside that folder.

  4. Restart Obsidian.

  5. Open Settings → Community plugins.

  6. Enable Canvas Toolkit.

Usage

Right-click a Canvas card or group to access its appearance options.

Use the additional Canvas toolbar buttons to:

  • Add a group
  • Toggle sticky-note view
  • Toggle board view

Plugin defaults can be changed under:

Settings → Canvas Toolkit
