Definitions detector

Don't waste time by linking every word with its definition, use Definitions detector !

Features

  • Scanner: the plugin will scan your active leaf.
    => If it detects a word you have the definition in your definitions folder, it will automatically replace it with a link to the note containing the definition.

Settings

  • Definitions folder: The folder where you store your definitions.
    => Place your definitions in this folder. A definition is a note with the word as title and containing the definition.
    => The folder can contain up to 4 subfolders of definitions.

Installation

  • Go in the release tab.
  • Download main.js and manifest.json.
  • Go into the plugin folder of your vault.
  • Create a definitions-detector folder.
  • Paste the main.js and manifest.json downloaded previously.
  • And you're done !

Usage

  • Enable the plugin in the Obsidian app settings.
  • Set your definition folder.
  • Click the book icon in the ribbon menu to scan the active leaf.
  • Enjoy !
