🧠 Note Spaced Repetition

Remember everything you write in your Obsidian Notes. Most study tools make you create tiny, annoying flashcards. This plugin is different, it uses your whole notes as the card. It acts like a "smart brain-timer," showing you your notes exactly when you are about to forget them. Whether you are a student or just someone who loves learning, this tool helps you keep remember your notes in your head forever.

🚀 Why use this?

  1. No extra work: You don't have to make cards. Just use the notes you already wrote.
  2. See the big picture: Learn from the whole page so you don't lose the context.
  3. Smart timing: The app knows when you are about to forget and reminds you at just the right time.

🧠 The Science Made Simple

The "Forgetting Curve"

Your brain is like a leaky bucket—it starts losing info the moment you learn it. To stop the leak, you need to "check" the info right before it falls out of your head. This is called Active Recall.

FSRS vs. SM-2 (The Brain Engines)

You can choose how the "timer" works in the settings:

  • FSRS (The Robot Brain): This is the newest and smartest way. It watches how you learn and picks the perfect time for you to see a note again.
  • SM-2 (The Classic Timer): A simple, famous timer that has worked for students for over 30 years.

⚙️ How to Set It Up (Settings)

You can change how you study in the settings menu:

📋 Managing Your Notes

  • 📅 View Schedule: See a list of every note and exactly when it’s your turn to read it again.
  • ⚖️ Priority Mode: Decide if you want to see old notes first, or mix in some new ones.
  • 🎯 Daily Target: Set a goal for how many notes you want to read each day so you don't get tired.
  • 🏷️ Subject Filter: Want to study only "Science" today? Type that tag here to hide everything else.

🛠️ Cool Tricks

  • 📂 Auto-Hide (Fold): Automatically hides the details under your headings. This lets you guess the answer before you look - Active Recall.
  • 🔄 Sync Properties: Writes the "due date" inside your note so you can see it easily.
  • ⏰ New Day Start: Pick what time your "study day" starts (like 4:00 AM).
  • 🚫 Skip Folders: Tell the plugin to ignore folders like "Templates" or "Old Trash."

⌨️ Quick Keys (Review Hotkeys)

When a note is open, just tap a number to tell the app how well you remembered it:

KeyActionWhat it means
1Again"I forgot everything. Show me again soon!"
2Hard"I remembered, but it was really tough."
3Good"I remembered it after a little thinking."
4Easy"I knew it instantly. I'm a pro!"
BBury"Not right now. Show me this tomorrow."
IInspect"Show me the math and history for this note."
EscExit"I'm done for now. Close the study bar."
